03/15/08 7:05 AM When trying to install, at some point I got this: Could not find the ColdFusion Component logancup.utilities.Preferences. Please check that the given name is correct and that the component exists. The error occurred in /chroot/home/logancup/logancup.ro/html/admin/setup/Setup.cfc: line 318 I am not so familiar with mappings so please, let me know what mapping should I create (and if you can be very clear I would appreciate). Thank you so much. Adrian. www.viaromania.eu

03/18/08 8:38 PM Hi Adrian, Mango does not require any mappings. But the error that you see could be caused by a mapping already set pointing to that directory or a parent directory. Please check if you have any mapping set up. Otherwise, are you trying to set up the blog in the root of your site or in a subdirectory? |

03/19/08 1:21 PM Adrian, I have been able to reproduce this issue by setting a mapping on one of the parent folder of the blog location. I have posted an update to the setup files, I hope that solves the problem: http://www.mangoblog.org/downloads/admin.zip Just copy the files there in your admin and setup folders. It will overwrite some files. I only included the changed files, so make sure your setup folder still contains other files besides those in the zip. By the way, the import from wordpress or blogcfc will probably not work on the updated files.t |
